Heating, Pumping & Filtering Units
Heavy fuel oil (Furnace oil) needs preheating from room temperature up to about 100°C in order to reduce its viscosity. A constant working pressure of 1 to 3 kg/cm2 is developed for proper firing in fuel oil burners and also to achieve complete combustion in the furnace. Our Heating and Pumping Units (HPUs) are conceived and designed for high thermal efficiency and minimum maintenance cost.

In addition to HPUs, Pumping and Filtering Units (P&F Units) are also available without the presence of oil preheaters. These are suitable for firing High Speed Diesel (HSD) or Light Diesel Oil (LDO)
Simplex and Duplex Filters
Simplex and Duplex: Basket type filters with close grained heavy cast iron body and mild steel perforated filter element. Filter element may be coarse or fine depending on the requirement. These filters prolong the intervals between cleaning owing to a filtering area that is 5 times that of the conventional Y- type filter.
Duplex filter is particularly suitable where continuous flow through the system is required even during cleaning of the filter elements.
Sizes: ½ , ¾ , 1, 1½, 2 and 3 inches

Oil Line Preheaters
Oil line preheaters can be flanged in the line to heat Furnace oil up to 50 °C to reduce its viscosity and facilitate easy flow in the pipeline. In some cases they are used as "booster heater" to bring the temperature of oil to firing level which was earlier cooled down due to pipeline losses. We manufacture heaters in vertical or horizontal mounting design.

Tank Outflow Heaters
Tank outflow heaters can be directly welded to the service / Day tank so that the Furnace oil coming out of the tank gets heated instantly and reduces the load on the motor in the heating unit installed further. Renewable Cartridge type heating elements can be replaced without emptying the Oil tank, as the heater is not in direct contact with the oil.
